DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintain and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Research and review monthly account analysis and financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of monthly, quarterly and annual DOT and other finance and operation reports required for regulatory compliance.
• Review and supervise PMI inventory cycle count process.
• Contribute to the annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis and special projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
• One to three years of experience in accounting or finance
• Additional experience beyond three to five years could be considered in lieu of the degree
• Accounting experience with month-end close, journal entries, and ad hoc reporting
• Moderate to strong Excel skills and ability to learn new software

 PREFERRED SKILLS:

·         Experience with Oracle Fusion software

·         CPA or MBA

·         Airline industry experience
