What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server Assistant position at AC Hotel by Marriott Savannah Historic District?
As a member of the North Point Team, the Food Runner creates a great guest experience by greeting the guests warmly, keeping food service areas clean and well-stocked, and providing prompt service to guests.
Essential Functions:
- Interacts with guests/ attends to guest needs.
- Places food in breakfast area and replenishes as needed.
- May prepare food items.
- May serve food or beverage items to guests.
- This shift starts at 5 a.m.
Supervisory Responsibility:
None
Work Environment: Indoor and Outdoor work, exposure to extreme temperatures, frequent interaction with internal and external customers, uniform dress required.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 year of age. GED/HS preferred
- Must be able to arrive timely for shift and meet the physical demands of the job

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to frequently lift supplies, trays, , up to 20 pounds. This job requires constant standing or walking for varying lengths of time. Occasional kneeling, pushing, & pulling. This job will require use of fingers and hands, moving them quickly to handle food, dishes, glassware, and merchandise.
