What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook ll, Cook lll position at AC Hotels?
Juniper, the rooftop restaurant at the beautiful AC Hotel by Marriott Greenville Downtown, and Paloma the AC Hotel restaurant with eclectic, European inspired cuisine, are seeking a Cook II and a Cook III to join our team. The purpose of a Cook II and Cook III, is to prepare food items according to designed menus, recipes and sample photographs.
Essential Job Functions
- Uses the kitchen manual regarding recipe samples and all preparation methods.
- Demonstrates safe and proper use of equipment at all times, performing all duties in a safe manner.
- Practices basic sanitation, stock rotation and refrigerator cleanliness, while keeping all work areas clean and tidy.
- Demonstrates proper production of food items, working efficiently to achieve maximum productivity while reducing and keeping waste to minimum.
- Notifies Outlet Manager of storeroom requisitions and all other needs necessary to complete their duties.
- Full-time hours available (at least 30 hours per week); flexible schedule required.
Experience/Education
For the Cook II position, 1‐2 years' experience as a Prep Cook (Cook III), preferably in an outlet of similar size and nature. (College degree a plus)
For the Cook III position, Will train if not experienced.
Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
