ROLE: VP Sales & Business Development
LOCATION: Remote (East Coast Preferred ie. North Carolina, Virginia)
Our client is a venture-backed SaaS company disrupting a $400B industry and entering hypergrowth mode. They’re seeking a player/coach that can roll up their sleeves and lead, manage, and grow a small team to their next level of growth. This position reports to the CEO and focuses on building business relationships and securing new/existing accounts in the US and future international markets.
Companies technology is focused on pricing optimization and business efficiencies and maximizing ROI and less focused on selling to Technology teams.
Core Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for mastering our solution, understanding customer challenges, and gaining a deep knowledge of the industry landscape. They will play a key role in expanding the current sales pipeline and closing enterprise-level deals (Mid Market). Additionally, the candidate will build and lead a high-performing sales organization while engaging directly with C-level executives at target accounts. They will also develop strategic partnerships to drive growth and establish thought leadership within the industry.
Required Qualifications:
- 15 years of enterprise software/services sales experience coming from a vertical focused SaaS company that is focused on price optimization and efficiencies
- 10 years leadership experience
- Background in financial, supply chain, or commercial solutions
- Proven track record in sales leadership and team building
- Strong communication skills with technical and business audiences
- BS/BA required; Advanced degree preferred
