Description
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training warranty advisor staff
- Plan, assign, and direct advisor personnel
- Appraise performance
- Coach and mentor employees
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Ensures that all warranty paperwork is properly documented and that all verifying criteria needed by the factory/distributor are processed correctly
- Keeps abreast of all company announcements of factory recalls
- Works alongside accounting department to obtain payments for warranty work
- Retains customer’s service records in an organized manner to ensure the company maintains a good relationship with all clients and to make sure all payments sent and received are properly accounted for.
- Acts as liaison between the customer and factory while a unit is under warranty. As the liaison they must be sympathetic to the customer’s issues and needs, and the factory’s abilities and limitations.
- Processes and prepares components to be returned to manufacturer if requested by manufacturer.

Education & Individual Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years in dealership leadership position(s)
- High School Diploma or the equivalent
- Professional references
- Valid Driver's License with a clean, insurable, driving record
- Satisfactory results of a pre-employment background screening
Physical Requirements: While performing duties of this position, the Warranty Manager is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
