What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing / Events Coordinator position at ACA Group?
ACA Group, the leading governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) advisor in financial services has an exciting opportunity for an Events Coordinator. The individual in this position is responsible for coordinating and planning ACA Group ("ACA") seminars, conferences, and internal events.
What you'll do :
- Complete all aspects of event planning and execution for live events, roundtables, trade shows, dinners, conferences, meetings
- Draft and finalize event summary reports including survey feedback from attendees
- Support in the drafting and execution of promotional and follow-up communications for each event via email and social media
- Ensure accurate tracking of event performance by creating required backend campaigns and tracking fields, enforcing lead tracking process with sales team, and adding attendees to corresponding salesforce campaigns
- Develop event agenda, schedules, and topics for discussion
- Assist in identifying and confirming appropriate speakers for engagements
- Serve as the point of contact for clients, prospects, speakers, and other event attendees in addressing their event-related questions and needs
- Identify areas to help improve conferences and other events for sponsors, exhibitors, attendees, and ACA personnel
- Network with industry professionals to help identify potential conference speakers and attendees
- Support ACA's business initiatives for ACA-sponsored events
- Conduct site visits of venues to identify potential properties and meeting space appropriate for various ACA events
- Review and negotiate contracts with hotels and other event service providers, including those relating to meeting space, meals, entertainment, information technology, audio / visual services, hotel rooms, and other event-related services
- Coordinate meeting space set up, hotel reservations as necessary, food and beverage needs, and other relevant logistics with hotel or venue staff for ACA functions
- Liaise between event attendees, speakers, guests, vendors, venue staff, and ACA staff as needed
- Oversee all aspects of ACA's continued education credits (for example : CLE, CPE) applications, approvals, and requests
- Perform ad-hoc work / special projects as necessary to support ACA on various client and internal initiatives
