Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This pivotal role is the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front office environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, strongly communicative, and deeply passionate about working in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities
· Front Desk Management: Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
· Communication: Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages or providing information as necessary.
· Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing student records and attendance.
· Scheduling: Coordinate appointments and meetings for school staff and administrators.
· Correspondence: Handle incoming and outgoing mail and emails.
· Event Coordination: Help organize school events and activities, providing logistical support as needed.
· Visitor Management: Maintain a visitor log and ensure visitors adhere to school policies and procedures.
· Supplies Management: Monitor and order office supplies to ensure the front office is well-stocked.
· Student Assistance: Provide basic first aid and support to students in need, contacting parents or guardians as necessary.
Qualifications
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
· Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or front desk role, preferably in an educational setting.
· Skills:
o Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
o Strong organizational and time management skills.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, fax machines).
o Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
o Friendly and approachable personality with a customer service-oriented mindset.
o Basic first aid knowledge is a plus.

Working Conditions
