This role involves assisting application specialists and developers with technical aspects related to various enterprise systems. These systems encompass a student information system, learning management systems, identity management systems, financial/HR systems, storage, and communication systems, and diverse educational software platforms.

- Reports consistently for work as scheduled
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Attains proficient or higher evaluations on established Performance Standards
- Assists senior Team members with maintaining device and user security
- Assists with application upgrades and patching
- Creates and maintains documentation for disaster recovery purposes
- Creates, maintains, and documents enterprise system policies and procedures
- Develops skills to assist senior Team members with requirements analysis, design, implementation and testing of new software systems and modifications to existing systems
- Learns and participates in fundamental SQL Server database administration tasks including software installation, backup and recovery, performance monitoring, capacity planning, data export/import and SQL
- Learns and supports the management of various data integrations for educational and enterprise systems
- Participates in structured programming language training. Increase programming proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio with ASP.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Prioritizes workload and establish effective communication of those priorities
- Provides direct support to senior Team members on various tasks and projects
- Provides secondary support for any other enterprise systems which are not part of the primary assignment
- Serves as an effective team member of the Information Technology Department
- Support the Administration Center conference room technologies including Teams Rooms and live events
- Supports license management administration for various educational applications
- Works additional unscheduled hours when required for critical tasks and provides 24-hour support when critical needs arise
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to translate user needs into application requirements
- Basic understanding of database management systems, SQL query and reporting functions
- Demonstrates ability to work well with others in a team setting or as a service provider
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with application security concerns for users, devices and enterprise applications
- Knowledge of Microsoft platform tools and applications
- Knowledge or experience with programming languages commonly used in IT (PowerShell, C# and other .NET languages, t-SQL)
- Knowledge or experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions
- Must be a strong learner open to new ideas
- Outstanding technical writing and documentation skills
- Strong focus on project delivery and attention to detail

Required Qualifications:
- Up to 3 Years Experience in technology support, application administration or software development if applicant has an Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3 Years relative experience in technology support, application administration or software development if applicant does not have a degree
- Associate degree in computer science or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Microsoft Certified Solutions (MCSE, MCSA or other Microsoft applications/tools)
- CompTIA (A or others).
- Other IT related application or vendor specific certifications
Compensation Range:
$58,690-$68,690
(Based on job relevant experience at 100% FTE)
