Latin Teacher for 2025-2026 School Year
ACE is seeking a certified Latin teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Teacher must create and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in specific subject areas reflecting the Georgia Standards of Excellence specifically related to Latin
- Teacher must be able to develop lessons that incorporate higher order thinking skills and the ability to quantitatively analyze scientific information.
- Teacher must maintain a safe, orderly, organized classroom where teaching and learning is a priority.
- Teacher must implement and support school-wide policies.
- Teacher must communicate routinely with students, parents, colleagues and administrators and establish open lines of communications with all.
- Teacher must willingly take part in duty assignments as assigned by the administration.
Qualifications:
- Education and/or Experience: Must have a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Latin.
- Certificate or License Required: Valid Georgia professional teaching certificate in the assigned teaching field.
The applicant must be:
- Interested in working on a team as a colleague.
- Understand the "ACE Way" and work to achieve it daily.
- Knowledgeable about children.
- Excited about teaching!
