Senior Integrated Media Planner/Buyer (potential to move to supervisor)

We are seeking a strategic thinker and seasoned professional to lead integrated media campaigns for high-profile clients. As a Senior Planner/Buyer, you’ll manage the end-to-end campaign lifecycle while mentoring junior team members and contributing to new business opportunities.This role offers opportunities to grow into leadership positions as the Integrated Media Team expands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Planning & Development:
- Lead the development of integrated media strategies across all channels (video, display, social, OOH, audio, etc.), aligning with client business objectives and KPIs.
- Conduct in-depth audience research and develop data-driven media plans that effectively reach target audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (account management, creative, analytics) to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction.
- Develop and present compelling media proposals and recommendations to clients.
- Contribute to the development of new business opportunities by supporting RFP responses and developing innovative media solutions.
- Campaign Execution & Optimization:
- Execute and manage media campaigns across various platforms, including CTV, OLV, Display, Audio, and DOOH, utilizing platforms such as Xandr, TradeDesk, AdQuick, and MNTN.
- Oversee all aspects of campaign execution, including media buying, trafficking, and optimization.
- Be accountable to campaign performance by analyzing data, and identifying areas for improvement to maximize ROI.
- Develop and implement A/B testing strategies to optimize campaign performance across different dimensions (e.g., targeting, creative, channels).
- Client Management & Communication:
- Serve as the primary media contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Provide regular updates on campaign performance, proactively identify potential challenges, and recommend solutions.
- Develop insightful reports and presentations that effectively communicate campaign results and key findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure client deliverables are met on time and align with strategic goals.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members on media planning, execution, and analysis best practices.
- Train and mentor junior team members in media strategy, campaign execution, and analytics.
- Industry Expertise:
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in media planning and buying.
- Continuously explore and evaluate new media channels, technologies, and vendor partnerships.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in media planning and strategy, with at least 3 years in an ad agency or media agency environment.
- 2 years of experience in client-facing roles, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful integrated media campaigns across various channels.
- Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic, social, and mobile.
- Tools/Platforms: Experience with Xandr, TradeDesk, Viant, AdQuick, and MNTN.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and audience tools such as Resonate and Place.ai.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4 preferred).
- Proficiency with Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic and a collaborative team spirit.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without the need for work or visa sponsorship.
- Willingness to work East Coast business hours (approximately 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST).
Preferred:
- Experience with digital ad operations (e.g., creative trafficking, tag implementation).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating media buys.
- Familiarity with omnichannel attribution and measurement strategies.
