Summary of Position:
Supervise a team which may include General Maintenance I & II, HVAC I & II, Maintenance Utility,
Shuttle Driver and/or a Plumbing Techs who work on a wide variety of general facility maintenance,
repair and upkeep tasks throughout the property, focusing on all Park buildings as well as grounds.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise receipt and completion of revenue and general Maintenance Requests (MRs) as
- Identify and ensure that all materials and tools are available at job sites as required by the HVAC,
- Inspect and ensure that all MRs are completed as planned
- Assist in departmental labor scheduling
- Ensure that repairs and inspections of the pool, pool equipment, pool buildings and surrounding
- Ensure that Maintenance team is following the daily designated work plan and manage the flow
- Ensure that all identified departmental reports are completed as scheduled for review and sign
- Apprise Maintenance Manager of any and all employee attendance and performance issues
- Ensure that the Maintenance Manager is apprised, on a daily basis, of the status of all ongoing
- Tasks may include painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, concrete, heating, welding,
- Assist on assigned maintenance and mechanical duties for buildings and associated facilities,
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in problem resolution as needed
- Capable of independent “hands on repairs” in all maintenance disciplines
- Efficiently and in a timely manner, manage parts inventory for general stock
- Comply with safety policies and procedures including when lifting, climbing, etc.
- Ensure polite, knowledgeable and timely customer service when responding to visitor inquiries
Position Requirements:
- Basic to Intermediate computer skill level to include Word and Excel
- Demonstrate skill in the use of tools, materials and equipment common to maintenance and
- Must be able to work on ladders, scaffolding, elevated platforms or catwalks, crawl spaces,
- Understand and effectively follow oral and written instructions
- Strong people skills; supervisory assertiveness with the ability to coach, train and mentor staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally
- Must have a valid driver license to operate vehicles throughout property
