Maintenance Specialist - PRN

Sonora Behavioral Health is currently looking for a responsible Maintenance Specialist that will be working variable days and hours including weekends and holidays.

Sonora Behavioral Health is Arizona's largest inpatient psychiatric hospital. We provide stabilization treatment of mental health and chemical dependency issues affecting children, adolescents, adults and active duty military personnel. We are fully accredited by the Joint Commission and committed to providing superior quality care.

Sonora Behavioral Health is looking for a Per Diem Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The Maintenance Specialist is primarily responsible for performing a wide variety of preventive maintenance and repairs involving plumbing, electrical, drywall and painting, HVAC systems, vehicles, furnishings, appliances and equipment and grounds keeping. Must be able to visually inspect the facility and components to determine maintenance needs and corrective action required. Responsible for documenting tasks performed in department records appropriately. On-call for emergencies or back up coverage for full-time Maintenance Specialists.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a commercial environment, preferably in maintenance.
• 1 year of experience in drywall repairs and/or installation, painting, plumbing repairs, minor electrical maintenance/repair, landscaping maintenance, HVAC maintenance and repairs and vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to complete Handle with Care course is required
• Clear TB screening
• Ability to obtain Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Clear background and drug screen.
