OPPORTUNITY FOR ADVANCEMENT
With Multiple Divisions and geographical locations, we have the ability to promote and train from within as well as develop employees into many different roles!
- What you'll do
- Verify Welding Process/Procedure required for Project through Shop Foreman and Shop QA/QC Representative (welding process/procedure to be noted on each Fabrication Traveler issued with Drawings).
- Verify or Assist with Verification of Fit-up, prior to Weld-out as required.
- Complete and inspect all Weld Passes.
- Verify WPS before welding
- Ultimately responsible for quality and completeness of work (including removal of any buckshot) Note: 100% Penetration Required on All Pipe Welds (Including Hydro-Welds).
- Inspect Equipment (Welding Machine, Leads, Flux-Core Box, Grinder, Etc.), at the Start of Every Shift
- Upon Completion of Every Weld, Welder is Responsible for Cleaning and Applying Stencil/Stamp (3/8” from every Weld). Note: Welding requires that the Weld is Marked the Same Way, except the Stencil has to be put every Three (3) Feet of Weld Length
- Show up to Work “ON TIME” & “As Scheduled”
- Complete and discuss a thorough JSEA prior to each task.
- Always have a positive attitude towards customers being serviced as well as ACI as a company.
- Sweep work area daily or as needed, to ensure safe work area for all
- What you'll need to know
- Preferably 2 year Minimum Experience in Fabrication
- Proficient in Tig (GTAW) welding procedures
- Proficient in Fluxcore (FCAW) welding procedures
- Experience welding Subsea equipment
- Ability to learn other welding procedures such as:
- Stainless
- Inconel
