What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Acadian Medical Center?
1. Answer telephone calls promptly and in a courteous and professional manner, relaying calls accurately and efficiently.
2. Follows HIPAA laws, HIPAA and confidentiality policies in what information can be released on patients.
3. Operate efficiently and accurately in emergency situations, calling codes correctly, and panic button.
4. Greet visitors interacting professionally and furnish routine information (i.e. directions, hospital policy) in a professional, calm, courteous voice and mannerisms.
5. Accurately page authorized personnel overhead or by beeper.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
7. Scans documents for pre-registered patients, signs them in for services, routing to the correct department for procedures.
8. Any other duties assigned as needed to help drive our Mission and abide by our organizations values
