Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Diesel Mechanic, based in New Iberia, LA. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of diesel engines and heavy equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
- Vehicle Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills
- Equipment Maintenance and Heavy Equipment skills
- Proficiency in Diesel Mechanics
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Excellent attention to detail and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in diesel mechanics or automotive repair are a plus
