Job Title: Director of Human Resources
Location: Rainsville, Alabama
Hours: 730am-4pm
Travel: Occasional travel may be required
Overview:
As the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within our organization. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies to support the company's overall objectives while fostering a positive work environment for employees.
Duties:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Manage all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance with regulations.
- Implement policies and procedures to maintain a positive work culture and ensure legal compliance.
- Lead initiatives related to organizational design, talent management, and workforce planning.
- Handle conflict management and resolution to promote a harmonious work environment.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic planning initiatives that align with HR best practices.
- Present HR metrics and reports to senior management for informed decision-making.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field REQUIRED
- 3 years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least 1 year in a senior leadership role REQUIRED.
-SHRM Certification Highly Preferred
- Demonstrated experience in managing diverse HR functions and teams.
- Strong background in strategic planning, organization design, and change management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present effectively to senior leadership.
- Proven track record in conflict management and resolving employee relations issues.
