Acara Solution is looking for an Analog Power Design Engineer for Our client located in McLeansville, NC.-As an Analog Power Design Engineer for Undersea Systems, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing Undersea Communication systems.-The use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment for development, testing, and troubleshooting-Power System architecture and grounding-Isolated Switching Converters-Transmission Line Effects in power systems-EMI test and control methods (MIL-STD-461, FCC / IDE / VDE)-Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics-Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design.Required Skills / Qualifications : -Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics-Minimum 5 years of experience in High Voltage DC Power systems / Module design. -Minimum 5 years of experience in High voltage applications, power transmission systems, power electronics and HVDC technology-Minimum 5 years of experience should include multiple power topology design experiences from a few watts to KW converters.-Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis / design-Minimum 5 years of experience in the use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories-Minimum 5 years of experience with Circuit Design-Minimum 5 years of experience with Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis)-Minimum 5 years of Feedback / Control systems experience-Minimum 5 years of experience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and componentsPreferred Skills / Qualifications : -Master's Degree-Magnetics Design and High-Speed Design experience-Strong troubleshooting ability : must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components-Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success in leading design teams for complex projects-Team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and othersAdditional Information : -Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen. -In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.-Under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), all employees assigned to this client must provide documentation verifying their status as a ',' as defined in ITAR clause 120.15.
