What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cnc machine operator position at Acara Solutions?
- Performs operations requiring multiple bends, twists or coils to meet print specifications.-Read and interpret engineering drawings (inch and metric) and BOMs.
- Performs layout and precision inspection using precision measuring devices, calipers, height gages and protractors.-Measures and verifies dimensions using inspection tooling, documenting methods and procedures for efficient set ups and repeat jobs.
- Maintains accurate logs and other necessary documents and uses computer-based systems.-Performs visual first-article inspections and first-piece inspections.
- May assist or oversee less skilled personnel to use the best method to achieve results in a safe and timely manner. -Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Participates in the safety program and contributes to a safe, clean work environment.Required Skills / Qualifications : 4-5 years manufacturing or related work experience , or any combination of education and experience Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of cutting .
