Acara Solutions is looking for a Hand / Tube Bender for our client located in Fremont, CAIf interested please apply at Stoneh@ : $28-32 Hourly DOE Shift : Mon-Fri 6am - 2 : 30pm Contract : Temp to Perm after 90-day conversion Job Description -Performs complex set ups and efficiently performs all required bends on tubing up to 3' diameter utilizing hand benders, machine bender and special bending fixtures. -Performs operations requiring multiple bends, twists or coils to meet print specifications.-Read and interpret engineering drawings (inch and metric) and BOMs.-Performs layout and precision inspection using precision measuring devices, calipers, height gages and protractors.-Measures and verifies dimensions using inspection tooling, documenting methods and procedures for efficient set ups and repeat jobs.-Maintains accurate logs and other necessary documents and uses computer-based systems.-Performs visual first-article inspections and first-piece inspections.-May assist or oversee less skilled personnel to use the best method to achieve results in a safe and timely manner. -Work independently with minimal supervision.-Participates in the safety program and contributes to a safe, clean work environment.Required Skills / Qualifications : 4-5 years manufacturing or related work experience , or any combination of education and experience Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of cutting .005 and angles 0.5 , program, and run a Pines & Horn Automatic Bending machine and a Hossfeld Bender machine(preferred)Capability to calculate fractional sizes, decimal equivalents, diameters, and perform math problems (using basic math addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and geometry and , flow control elements, and MRP , manual dexterity, and physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, Talent Rise, Viaduct) are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
