Immediate Hiring Machinist/Machine Operator

Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our customer in Sauk Rapids, MN. Interview Today / Start Next Week

Here's what you will receive:

Pay: $16.73 - $25.14 DOE shift differential

Shift hours:

1st shift: 5am-3pm Mon-Thu

2nd shift: 3pm-1am Mon-Thu

3rd shift: 11pm-7am Su-F

4th shift: 7am-7pm Fri-Sun

Weekend shift: 7am-7pm F-Su

Machinist Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Other duties may be assigned.

· Perform complex setups and operate mill, lathe, and/or router to machine flat and formed parts to an inch and metric specifications

· Read and interpret engineering drawings

· Evaluate and justify new tooling and machining processes

· Work from schedules, shop orders, established procedures, blueprints, and specifications to identify deviations that can potentially interrupt productivity

· Maintain logs and other necessary documents

· Determine the sequence of operations when necessary

· Perform the first article of inspection when necessary

· Assist others with machining problems

· Work independently with moderate supervision

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Ability to handle fragile products, perform repetitive tasks, and demonstrate safety awareness

· Solid understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements, and MRP concepts

· Visual acuity and manual dexterity

· Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Desired Education, Certifications, and Experience

· 4 years of manufacturing or related work experience

· A.A. degree or equivalent experience, or any combination of education and experience

· Vocational or technical training or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

• 2-year machining degree preferred
• Metal saw operation experience preferred
