Here's what you'd do : -A hardware representative type role predominately focused on working on the shop floor.-Understand the client's flow within the shop floor and production work centers.-Responsible for releasing work orders and prioritizing and expediting work through the shop, which will need a lot of coordination and communication with multiple functions.-Responsible for understanding capacity and will monitor and provide insight into key performance indicators such as on-time starts, aging, or idle work orders.-Sorts, posts, and files such paperwork as inventory records, production schedules, and other production control data.-Keeps records of the number of units shipped and the number of jobs in production.-Statuses and expedites work orders through the manufacturing facility.-Prepare shop orders indicating style, size, quantity, and priority.-Review stock records, consumption figures, and detailed schedules to determine stock status against program requirements.-Prepare input forms for automated data processing system and may operate personal computer equipment.-Performs other clerical tasks relating to duties.
