Nutrition and Culinary Manager - Seattle Residential
The Nutrition and Culinary Manager is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of nutrition and culinary services, food budget, performance management, staffing, training, and development of the nutrition and culinary team at their assigned location.
Compensation Range:
Nutrition and Culinary Manager: $98,000 - $108,000 annually
Final compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for position.
Schedule:
- Full Time, 1.0 FTE ( 40hrs/wk), general schedule of Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- General flexibility in scheduling needed to adjust schedule earlier or later if needed depending on coverage needs.
- Will be on-call for Nutrition & Culinary Team, with on-call weekend and holiday rotations as a site leader.
How Nutrition and Culinary Managers Empower Recovery:
- Oversees the accurate and appropriate delivery of evidence-based, corporate, and industry best-practice nutrition and culinary services at assigned location.
- Promotes client adequate nutrition state and eating competency.
- Ensures fidelity to corporate standards of care, policies and procedures, and external regulations.
- Participates as a member of site leadership (at assigned locations) and corporate nutrition leadership teams.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders in the identification, development, implementation, and/or evaluation of initiatives, policies, and procedures, as assigned/requested.
- Manages and adheres to the site food budget, where applicable.
- Manages hiring, and training of nutrition and culinary team members
- Supervises nutrition and culinary team members
- Maintains up-to-date nutrition therapy knowledge and skills of advancements in eating disorders care.
- Promotes efficient, effective, respectful, and professional care collaboration.
- Orchestrates coverage needs for direct reports and provides coverage for sessions and/or programming, as needed.
- Maintains clinical caseload in accordance with the Registered Dietitian job description.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Commission on Dietetic Registration - Registered Dietitian credentials required.
- Washington State Registered Dietitian license
- Washington State Department of Health Food Handler permit within 30 days of hire.
- ServSafe Certified Food Manager certification required within 30 days of hire
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Food service experience preferred.

- Holidays: Employees not working at a residential or inpatient facility are eligible for 7 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday
- Non-exempt employees working at a residential or inpatient facility will receive premium pay at a rate of double time if they are scheduled and work on one of ten designated holidays.
- Employees hired on or after February 20, 2022, will receive premium pay at a rate of time and-a-half if scheduled and work on one of ten designated holidays.
- Exempt employees working at a residential or inpatient facility who are scheduled to work on a holiday may take the holiday on a different day during the same pay period. Additionally, non-exempt employees are eligible or various shift and weekend differentials.
