- Add mutually agreed upon new items into Client's item master and improve existing item files with product attributes as determined by Infor requirements (HCPCS (Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System), manufacture product identification numbers, GTIN (Global Trade Item Number), etc.);
- Develop/update written training documentation and required training for new system users;
- Offer quarterly training opportunities that have been mutually agreed upon for item master maintenance for the informatics team;
- Create or update policies, procedures and metrics associated with managing e-commerce platform;Prioritize and accelerate the increase of additional suppliers in the EDI (electronic data interchange) e-commerce exchange;
- Transition management of PAR (periodic automatic replenishment) locations and bin labels to front line supply chain staff;
- Develop or update a policy outlining item master management, including a process for adding, editing and removing items;
- Create written guidelines to review non-item master (x items) spend quarterly and the criteria to build Infor numbers Ascertain current processes for item creation within Client's ERP (enterprise resource planning) system and identify critical item nomenclature and desired attributes relevant for operations (i.e., description, # characters in description, categorization, UOM (unit of measure) schema, use of attributes, contract #, other coding etc.,) and ensure data contained is consistent in the Infor system;
- Identify and flag item duplicates and inactive items;
- Manage and remove duplicate items in Infor as required and approved by Member's leadership;
- Communicate item number changes to support bin label updates;
- Ensure items flagged for "inactivation” occur and validate spend/usage history for inactive items are maintained;
- Leverage System insights to prioritize item health action plan by financial and operational impact on Client's organization.
