Job Description
The Behavioral Aide role involves supporting students with behavioral challenges under teacher supervision. Ideal candidates have experience working with students and strong classroom management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplemental instruction to individual students or small groups
- Monitoring student behavior and redirecting inappropriate behaviors
- Developing materials to enhance learning with teachers
- Clerical tasks such as preparing instructional materials and maintaining student records
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old
- Relevant knowledge and skills for the assigned program
