Job Summary
As an ABA Behavior Technician at Accel Therapies, you will implement individualized ABA therapy programs for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. You will work directly with clients under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Program Supervisors (PS). This role is ideal for compassionate, patient, and dedicated individuals who want to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Direct Client Support: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients in various settings, following the behavior intervention plan developed by the BCBA and PS.
- Data Collection: Record and maintain data on client progress, behavior observations, and other relevant information during therapy sessions.
- Behavior Intervention: Implement behavior modification techniques and strategies outlined in the individualized treatment plan to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with team members to ensure coordinated delivery of services and progress monitoring.
- Professional Development: Attend ongoing training and meetings to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Previous experience working as an ABA Therapist with individuals with Autism or developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Previous childcare experience is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- A positive and team-player attitude is necessary.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times is crucial.
