Your Role: ABA Behavior Therapist
Job Summary
As an ABA Behavior Technician, you'll implement individualized therapy programs under Board Certified Behavior Analysts' supervision.
You'll work directly with clients to provide one-on-one support and interventions targeting specific behavior goals.
Responsibilities
- Direct Client Support: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions following the developed behavior intervention plan
- Data Collection: Record and maintain data on client progress, behavior observations, and relevant information during therapy sessions
- Behavior Intervention: Implement techniques and strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development
- Collaboration: Ensure coordinated delivery of services and progress monitoring with team members
- Professional Development: Attend ongoing training and meetings to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Reliable transportation is necessary
- Previous experience as an ABA Therapist is a plus
- Previous childcare experience is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential
- A positive attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality are required
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Lifting up to 15 pounds may be necessary
- Accessing and navigating department areas at our facilities
