Job Description
As a Paraprofessional at Accel Therapies, you will work under the supervision of teachers to support students with behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, possess strong math and literacy education skills, and excel in classroom and behavior management.
Responsibilities
- Instruction: Providing supplemental instruction to individual students or small groups
- Behavior: Monitoring student behavior and communication, redirecting inappropriate behaviors, and administering behavior intervention programs
- Social and Emotional Development: Helping students build social skills and foster healthy concepts
- Materials: Assisting teachers in developing and using materials to enhance learning
- Clerical: Preparing, typing, duplicating, and filing instructional materials, maintaining student records
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Age: At least 18 years old
- Knowledge and skills needed to support the program
- Meet paraprofessional requirements as defined in IDAPA 08.02.02
Salary : $12 - $14
