We are actively seeking an experienced NPD Engineering Manager to join our team. This role requires a seasoned engineering leader with a strong technical background and proven experience in new product development and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams with a focus on driving new product development from concept to launch.
- Manage projects, ensuring successful execution within timelines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Present technical information and project updates to customers, vendors, and company leadership.
- Mentor and develop mechanical engineers, fostering their growth and professional development.
- Oversee quality management processes, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth testing and development phases of mechanical designs.
- Maintain a proactive approach to product and process improvement while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering, including at least 10 years in a management role.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Design or a related field.
- Strong technical aptitude with experience in new product development and project management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SolidWorks.
- Experience managing quality processes and involvement in various stages of mechanical design testing.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to customers, vendors, and corporate leadership.
- Proven experience mentoring engineering teams and ensuring their professional growth.
- Experience in the window and door industry is a plus.
- Will to travel up to 5%.
