Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to lead and enhance their quality assurance processes across multiple production areas, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Develop, maintain, and improve quality standards and requirements across manufacturing zones, including molding, SMT, and assembly.
🔹 Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and participate in external audits.
🔹 Lead continuous improvement initiatives, supporting Kaizen events and corrective action efforts.
🔹 Oversee quality technicians in inspection processes and non-conformance management.
🔹 Manage customer quality concerns, analyze key metrics (PPM, warranty failures), and drive improvement initiatives.
🔹 Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure flawless new product launches.
🔹 Support manufacturing engineering in process control and quality system improvements.
Qualifications:
✔️ Bachelor's degree in Engineering (highly preferred).
✔️ 10 years of quality engineering experience.
✔️ ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (highly desired).
✔️ Experience in ISO 9000 standards, regulatory compliance, and lean manufacturing.
✔️ Industry experience in automotive, medical, or aerospace preferred.
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, statistical analysis tools, GD&T, and metrology/CMM.
