Position Overview:
Seeking a talented Software Developer 3 to contribute to the development of the new F.O.R.G.E. web application. The team works in a SCRUM framework environment, with a dedicated project focus on creating a unified front-end user interface that integrates disparate systems. This position will involve both backend and web development with a focus on modern technologies such as Blazor, .NET C#, and Microservices.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAM authentication, SignalR, and API development, along with familiarity working in the Azure DevOps environment. The successful candidate will be dedicated to maintaining high standards of development and quality, participating in unit testing, and integrating into a well-established development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance Blazor web applications using C# .NET technologies.
- Support API development and implement best practices for securing APIs.
- Collaborate within a SCRUM framework environment for efficient software delivery.
- Integrate and work with Microsoft SQL, Entity Framework, LINQ, and SignalR for dynamic web updates.
- Develop and maintain authentication protocols, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and SAML.
- Actively participate in unit testing and ensure code quality.
- Utilize Azure DevOps tools, including Pipelines, for continuous integration and deployment.
- Engage with the team to support the completion of the F.O.R.G.E. project within established timelines and technical standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 10 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in C# .NET development and web application development using Blazor.
- Solid experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, Entity Framework, LINQ, and SignalR.
- Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) and SAML authentication methods.
- Strong background in API development and ensuring their security.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for continuous integration, build, and release processes.
- Comfortable with unit testing and code quality practices.
- Q-Clearance (or ability to transfer a DOD Top Secret clearance) preferred.
Additional Skills & Experience (Preferred):
- Familiarity with SCRUM or other Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
