Accent Financial Group and Insurance Services is searching for a Personal & Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Customer Service Representative with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must have a desire to help people and be very detail oriented. Experience is preferred but not necessary.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to handle large volume of calls daily
- Process policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and re-writes
- Invoice policy transactions using agency management system
- Handle claim related matters with clients and carriers
- Obtain deposit premiums as necessary
- Set up policy review appointments
- Identify cross-sell opportunities
- Input all information into agency/company software systems
- Work effectively with other office personnel
- Conduct job functions in a manner that promotes a high level of customer service
- Supports the agency's core values and basic principles
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by agency principles
Job Requirements: Valid New York Property & Casualty Insurance license is preferred but not mandatory
- Property and Casualty Agency experience preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to independently prioritize workload
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (notably Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Working knowledge of EZLynx is helpful, but not required
- Excellent verbal, written and typing skills
- Be a team player with a positive attitude
- Recognize the importance of client and agency confidentiality
