Electronic Maintenance Technician
Accentuate staffing is assisting a manufacturing company in hiring an Electronic Maintenance Technician. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits, with a 12-hour rotating day or night shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment outages by collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to identify and implement solutions.
- Apply advanced electrical troubleshooting skills to resolve system failures and optimize performance.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Siemens and GE PLC systems.
- Communicate equipment performance updates and corrective actions with operators and maintenance planners.
- Address issues involving low and medium voltage systems and components.
- Support maintenance activities, including work orders, KPIs, and incident reports, to drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) policies.
- Participate in daily maintenance planning meetings to align priorities and scheduled repairs.
Requirements:
- An associate's degree in a maintenance-related field or equivalent hands-on experience is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of electrical maintenance experience, preferably working with PLCs (Siemens), is required.
- Proven knowledge of high-output motors, conveyor systems, and high-voltage systems is essential.
- A strong understanding of process management, asset capability, and continuous improvement methodologies is necessary.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled environment is required.
- Six Sigma (Black/Green Belt) or TPM certification is advantageous.
