Accentuate Staffing is seeking motivated HR Generalist to join one of our clients in the food industry. This role is responsible for supporting HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and HR operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or food production environments and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new employees, ensuring a smooth hiring process.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (OSHA, FMLA, FLSA, etc.).
- Support employee relations, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive work environment.
- Administer benefits and payroll coordination in partnership with HR and finance teams.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of HR records and reports, including attendance and performance management.
- Provide training and development support, including safety and compliance training.
- Assist in HR policy implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to drive employee engagement and retention programs.
- Manage workers’ compensation claims and ensure workplace safety compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food industry setting.
- Experience and/or desire to work in a startup environment
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Salesforce/ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
