Responsibilities : Oversee Talent Development Department staff.Assist Talent Development staff and Chief Talent Officer with duties as necessary.Maintain open communications with the Chief Talent Officer.Provide strategic input to the leadership team on workforce planning, personnel management, and assist with developing and implementing workforce strategies that align with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.Develop and drive initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent.Oversee the daily activities of recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.Oversee and conduct workforce surveys as directed by Chief Talent Officer.Work with Sr. Director, Nursing to ensure compliance with Employee Health requirements.Ensures all required licenses are accurate and current.Develop job descriptions and reports, as necessary.Review and assists with development of Talent Development PoliciesResponds to Talent Development policy inquiries.Oversee performance management systems to ensure and enhance employee productivity and engagement.Work in collaboration with Payroll department as necessary.Support and foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and accountability.Work with leadership to address and resolve employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters in a fair and consistent manner.Ensure Talent Development policies comply with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, Joint Commission, HRSA, and EEOC requirements.Perform ongoing audits of Talent Development processes and programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies.Oversee unemployment claim process.Mitigate risks related to workforce issues and employee relations.Work in collaboration with Chief Talent Officer to design competitive compensation structures and benefits programs.Daily oversight of benefits programs.Works with HRSA, NHSC loan recipients.Ensures compliance with all leave programs, FMLA, STD, etc.Provide education to staff and leadership as required.Ensure all workers’ compensation claims are accurately and timely submitted.As directed by Chief Talent Officer, conduct market analysis and salary benchmarking.Work with schools and universities to onboard students as necessary.Assist Chief Talent Officer with provider recruitment.Other duties as assigned.Requirements : Experience in leadership roles or managing teams within HR or talent management10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in the healthcare industrySPHR / PHR (Preferred)Ability to use HR analytics to track and measure talent metrics such as turnover rates, recruitment success, and employee engagementAbility to align talent management strategies with the organization’s overall business objectives.Experience in developing succession plans for critical roles and creating talent pipelines.Clean driving record with current NC driver’s license and approved by corporate vehicle insurance vendor for driving privilegesAbility to communicate effectively with colleagues and external customers.
