What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool and die maker position at Accentuate Staffing?
This is a great opportunity working on 1st shift 6 : 00 am to 4 : 30pm Monday through Friday. Responsibilities : Create, modify, and repair complex tools, dies, and molds to meet detailed specifications.
Collaborate on the development of dies and molds for new product designs.Analyze blueprints, sketches, and technical data to determine the best materials and methods for fabrication.
Operate and maintain a variety of hand and machine tools to perform machining and assembly tasks.Conduct press trials of completed dies and make necessary adjustments to meet tolerance requirements.
Perform heat-treating processes such as hardening or annealing to prepare materials for use.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tools and dies to ensure seamless production processes.
Requirements : Proven experience as a Tool & Die Maker or in a similar precision machining role.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and technical documentation.
Skilled in operating machining tools such as grinders, lathes, and milling machines.Strong understanding of materials, machining processes, and heat-treating techniques.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work within tight tolerances.
