Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with disabilities in a group home setting. Your primary focus will be to enhance the quality of life for our clients through personal care, assistance with daily activities, and fostering independence.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide care for individuals with various needs, including dementia care and patient monitoring.
- Support clients in social and recreational activities to promote engagement and community involvement.
- Assist with heavy lifting as needed for client mobility and transfers.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
- Document care provided and any significant observations regarding client behavior or health.
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages independence while ensuring safety.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and dietary considerations for clients.
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and basic healthcare practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: $14.73 - $18.23 per hour
