We are looking for an accounts payable specialist to join our growing team! In this role, you would join our accounting department to help manage our teams financial transactions for vendor payments and expenses. This person would be processing payables for our residential and commercial management teams, as well as other ACCESS Commercial affiliated entities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Process, track, and manage payments for a large portfolio of residential and commercial properties on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Review and analyze invoices to ensure correct general ledger coding
- Review vendor statements to ensure all invoices are being paid in time.
- Uploading appropriate files into system.
- Responsible for vendor maintenance, vendor inquires, and new vendor set up including Form W9 and COI.
- Research, identify, and analyze discrepancies and troubleshoot to resolve.
- Complete special projects as requested by Controller
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Utilize software tools such as Appfolio and Yardi Voyager for data entry and management.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience required, preferably in the property management or real estate industry
- Associates’ degree in Business or related field
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and payments
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
