We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Network Cable Tech Supervisor (Supervisor) to lead teams in the installation and maintenance of low-voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optic systems, CCTV, access controls, multimedia, and alarm systems. This role requires strong leadership abilities to manage teams on out-of-town projects. The Supervisor will collaborate closely with the estimating and project departments, during the bidding process and throughout the lifecycle of awarded projects. The Supervisor is front and center in our customer relations effort and is the direct point of contact with both our subcontractors and valued clients.
Duties
- Develop project plans, requirements, and specifications.
- Supervise field technicians and manage schedules to ensure project deadlines, safety regulations, and quality standards are met.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to field technicians as needed.
- Install, troubleshoot, and configure low-voltage systems, including structured cabling, fiber optics, CCTV, access controls, multimedia, and alarm systems.
- Perform testing and validation for optimal performance of the systems.
- Accurately document labor hours, and work performed in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate project updates daily with the Project Manager.
- Ability to read blueprints and install according to plans.
- Point of contact on the job sites; manage customer requirements; ensure commitment to excellence.
- Close collaboration with your colleagues is essential. Whether it's processes, training, research, or any other business need, you'll work closely with your team to achieve our goals.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant low-voltage experience, including structured cabling, fiber optics, CCTV, access controls, multimedia, and alarm systems, (required).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- At least 3 years in a Supervisory position, (required).
- Previous experience in an IT support role or help desk environment is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- Proficiency in Typing
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Demonstrated knowledge of project estimation and project management processes.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
