Position Summary
Responsible for the coordinating, planning, implementing and evaluating activities associated with the MEND free clinic initiative. Provide general oversight, guidance and technical assistance to maintain the program. The Coordinator will work to develop and implement strategies that will lead to long-term involvement of community institutions, organizations and individuals in health promotion, assessment and evaluation to improve overall health outcomes of residents in Eastern NC.
Minimum Requirements
2 year associates degree or equivalent in business, public health, health education or communication- or higher.
3 years of health related experience, including experience working in communities.
Clear evidence of an ability to engage a diverse array of community stakeholders.
Health education and awareness knowledge. Program/project management experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Bilingual applicant preferred.
Organized, time management, can multi-task, detail oriented, able to work independently.
Excellent customer service skills.
Computer skills required with a familiarity of Microsoft Office program suite.
