Electronics Parts Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

Access Electronics, Inc. is an industrial electronics repair facility in Waldorf, MD. We seek a full-time Parts Procurement Specialist to perform various tasks and clerical duties. In this position, you will oversee the company’s inventory supply and manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials required for our operation. In addition, the right candidate will be responsible for aiding colleagues with office duties, including answering and directing phone calls, answering emails, assisting customers, and obtaining payment information. The candidate must be physically capable of lifting and moving materials that weigh 30 lbs. or more.

Duties:

• Manage the procurement process for parts, including sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing.
• Managing purchase orders – creating, invoicing, and tracking.
• Maintain records – keep accurate records of purchases.
• Quality Assurance – inspecting parts for defects and return defective parts.
• Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess.
• Sort and store parts.
• Answer and direct phone calls.
• Provide support to customers.

Experience:

Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)

Previous experience in parts procurement is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
