Job Title: Medical Clinic Patient Service Representative

Location: Neosho, MO
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Medical Patient Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a positive experience for our patients by managing front office tasks, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Verify patient insurance benefits and process claims accurately.
  • Collect co-pays, payments, and provide financial estimates for procedures.
  • Maintain and update patient records in the dental management system.
  • Address patient inquiries, concerns, and assist in resolving any issues.
  • Coordinate with the medical team to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and phone calls.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional certification in healthcare administration or dental office management is a plus.
  • Proficient in Spanish and English
  • Previous experience in a dental or medical office (preferred).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and billing procedures.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in using dental practice management software.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, friendly, and team-oriented attitude.
