This role involves scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
- Collect and verify patient information and insurance details.
- Process patient registrations and update electronic health records (EHR).
- Handle incoming calls, route inquiries, and provide information about services.
- Process payments, co-pays, and maintain financial records.
- Address patient concerns and escalate issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
- Bilingual skills are a strong advantage
