Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. This role requires proficiency in various techniques and tools used in the fabrication and assembly of piping systems.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems in compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Perform pipe threading, soldering, welding, and fabrication of pipe systems as needed.
- Rig and build scaffolding or other structures to access high areas for installation or maintenance work.
- Utilize power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Conduct inspections of existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with other construction site personnel to coordinate work schedules and ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a construction site environment with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
