The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) plays a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care across various healthcare settings. The APRN will work primarily in primary care but may also engage in emergency medicine and assisted living environments.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide primary care services, including routine check-ups and health screenings.
- Administer injections and perform venipuncture as required for diagnostic purposes.
- Interpret medical imaging results and collaborate with radiologists for accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient interactions and treatments.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses, offering education and support to patients regarding their health conditions.
- Respond to medical emergencies with appropriate interventions and treatment protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
