Job Summary:
The Part-Time Procurement Manager will work as a liaison between vendors and suppliers and communicating regular status updates to stakeholders. The individual will manage the procurement and purchasing operations and implement strategies to provide materials and services to meet organizational requirements and pricing. Maintains strategic supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and implements systems for monitoring performance, assessing risk, and responding to changes. Oversees auditing processes to ensure procurement and recordkeeping comply with any applicable established policies.
Part-Time Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 8 AM - 12 PM

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process for the entire US region.
- Plan, Implement and strategically execute procurement and sourcing initiatives.
- Maintain and manage vendor database along with building effective working relationships.
- Create, send, and confirm purchase orders, including managing days outstanding.
- Work with Accounts Payable/Accounting to ensure prompt vendor payments and determine monthly financial changes and capitalizations.
- Ensure departments are following corporate policies regarding purchasing of goods.
- Track monthly spend against departmental and project budgets and review, analyze, and accurately report any variances.
- Create quarterly departmental and project forecasts based on known or potential risks and opportunities
- Analyze and provide reports with financial metrics to leadership.
- Analyze monthly results and/or trending data to support the monthly forecast, identify risks to the forecast and identify mitigation strategies and actions.
- Support the finance team in India with coordination/follow up with vendors.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications

Proven experience in procurement and purchasing management.

Experience with technology related financials preferred

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree required (business, finance, supply chain management or related field)

Minimum 4-5 years of purchasing/managerial experience

Experience with procurement and financial tools
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
