Access Ohio, LLC a leading Primary Care/Behavioral Health agency is looking for a welcoming, dependable and skilled Receptionist for our Dayton Outpatient location.

Access Ohio is one of the leading mental health agencies in Central and Southern Ohio that opened the doors to our first outpatient clinic in 2006. We offer a comprehensive care approach that supports the whole patient-emotionally and physically. This approach has allowed us to grow and provide care at 15 different locations ranging from outpatient centers, hospitals and residential treatment centers.
*Medical Office (EMR, Insurance/Billing) experience required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Enter and update patient demographics in scheduling/EHR system
- Screen patient insurance cards/information, informing patients of whether we are in-network
- Schedule, enter and update patient appointments
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, including client care questions
- Contact new patient referrals
- Complete account balance payments; co payments, coinsurance
- Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival
- Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area.
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Communicate with colleagues to maintain smooth and efficient day to day operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
