Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering direct care services to individuals with intellectual disabilities living in their own homes or natural family environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide coordination and direct care support to individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Train and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
- Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing individual support plans in collaboration with the team and individuals being served
- Provide 25-30 hours of direct care support to individuals in the program
- Maintain documentation and data related to your caseload
Requirements
- One year of direct care experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred
- Valid driver's license and regular access to a reliable vehicle
- Able to travel during the course of a normal workday
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships
