Summary of Job Responsibilities:
· Evaluate previous daily production and machine operating conditions.
· Direct and plan daily work schedule incorporating equipment preventative maintenance.
· Comply and ensure personnel are following safety policies and company procedures.
· Verify production paperwork for accuracy and completion in a timely manner.
· Coordinate and evaluate production scheduling based on sales projections to ensure there is an adequate inventory of supplies and staffing to meet production goals.
· Provide leadership and training to subordinates to promote continual growth in job, skill, and knowledge.
· Ensure that shifts are staffed adequately to meet production goals.
· Monitor product quality on a routine basis to ensure the finished product meets/exceeds NSF and ASTM standards.
· Evaluate plant operations to ensure maximum efficiency and minimize production downtime.
· Process formulation tests to ensure a cost-efficient quality product.
· Responsible for preparing and conducting performance reviews for production supervisors in a timely manner.
· Promote good morale among personnel to encourage a teamwork environment.
· Generate Scrap Summary Reports.
· Attend daily production meetings and work closely with the Plant Manager.
· Any other duties assigned by the Plant Manager.
Preferred Qualification & Education:
· Highschool Diploma or GED
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
· Efficient typing skills with an emphasis on accuracy
· Ability to compile information and make decisions
· Ability to work under pressure
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred but not required
· Five (5) years of supervisory/management experience required.

Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
