We are seeking a Job Coach for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities to join our team in the Hudson Valley area. As a Community Habilitation Worker, you will provide skill-building training and support to adults with intellectual disabilities, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
Your duties will include teaching daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and time management, as well as working on valued outcomes with the assigned individual to identify steps to achieve their goals. You will also perform lifting or assisting with hygiene functions when necessary and document each training session.
Candidates with prior experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities and strong interpersonal and engagement skills are encouraged to apply. Bilingual English and Spanish speakers are a plus.
