What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Transport Driver position at Access To Healthcare Network?
We are looking for a compassionate Medical Transport Driver to provide safe, timely, and comfortable door-to-door transportation for clients with mobility limitations. The Driver will operate a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, ensuring clients' safe travel to medical appointments, prescriptions, groceries, and more. The Driver will also share information about healthcare programs as an Access to Healthcare Network (AHN) representative. The hours for this job are Tuesday- Friday from 8 : 00am to 6 : 30pm.
Responsibilities :
- Transport clients to medical appointments, supply pickups, and other essential errands within the service areas.
- Assist with mobility support, secure equipment, and offer arm assistance as needed.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate records of client trips and update dispatch regularly.
- Assist with office tasks when routes are completed early.
